Total Sports Recruiting Initial Evaluation To College Coaches

In this writing of The Process I am going to go into the initial evaluation that Total Sports Recruiting or my reps sends out to college coaches. Based upon your wish list of schools and to the schools across the nation that we believe are possible "Right Fit" schools based upon factors that we will go into. First of all we make our evaluation based on interviewing and the breaking down of video. Skills, game, workouts and other things that we will reveal later in the blog. So in sending you out initially to coaches we want to give the coaches the baseline of where you are as a young man or woman at that time.

Things that we talk about in that intial contact with colleges. It is an introduction to you as a person, your makeup, attitude, personality. Skill level for your age. This is different depending on if you are a freshman, sophomore, etc... Your maturity level and how it pertains to your work ethic in your academic achievement. Teams and competition you are playing and the organization or team you play for. Coaches you work with, both as a team, individually skill wise or lessons. Strengths and weaknesses on the field. what you are working most on to improve and what your best attributes are. What kind of teammate you are and what we see potentially. What kind of family you come from. Are your parents supportive and behind you positively or is there a problem with parents being to involved, overbearing and critiquing you at inappropriate times.

This is exactly why I like to get kids who are freshman and sophomores who have time to work on everything. I also like to get older kids who pass a lot of the factors that coaches use to evaluate how you will project out to their school and athletic program. So wether early in your High School career or later being a Junior or Senior we want to cover you in all these areas and are looking for progress and work ethic in all of them along the way.
